Authors retain full copyright and control of their own work, and can ask for it to be removed it at any time (in practice, it may take up to 30 days). Authors decide the price. They will receive 50% of all downloaded sales. More details are given on the publishing agreement page.

This is much better than conventional publishers can normally offer, and is made possible by the new technology of the web, and digital devices.

Ebooks can be read on a desktop computer, laptop or handheld (like an IPAQ or Palm), so that you can carry a huge bundle of books around in your pocket. 

There are also specialised Ebook readers. Sony has produced a new version of its Ebook reader, and Amazon has launched its Kindle in the USA. iRex iLiad is another one to be reckoned with.

The world of publishing is entering a revolutionary era. It has not changed as fast as music or film, because printed books are loved by so many people, including me.
