8. NAWG, the National Association of Writers' Groups has a website full of treasures. Do you belong to a writing group? Are you a short story writer, a novelist, a playwright, a poet, or a non-fiction writer? Then there's something for you on the NAWG website. Read about our Competitions, our Festival of Writing, and our Link magazine. You can see if there is a writing group in your area. The National Association of Writers' Groups has something for everyone who writes.

Preditors and editors: anotherealm.com/prededitors/ has huge lists of all sorts of literary support, including a reference to Fledgling Press as "not recommended." I wear this label with pride, as the issue, which is perhaps intriguing, is that my contract with a writer, which gives me 10% of any film or television rights sold, is seen by the splendid editor as unethical and involving a conflict of interest. I don't agree, but if you have views, please tell me. 11. "The Wedderburn Book" (1898) is a mine of genealogical information, and I am willing to scan pages from it at cost. Its second volume, the evidence, can be ordered from Kessinger Publishing. It is the first volume that I will search and scan for anyone interested. 12. More links to come ..... |
