1. Coffee Cup is my favourite software, as well as my favourite drink.
[ CoffeeCup - HTML Editor & FTP Software ]

2. Here is my own logo - feel free to take it and use it, to spread the word.

3. Fledgling Press is proud to be a member of the Scottish Publishers Association, now Publishing Scotland. Their site has links to many good things related to Scottish Books, including to here.

4. My new friend and respected affiliate is Lynn Michell at Linen Press Books  'run by women for women who share a passion for writing'. Not related to the Edinburgh Press, which is a shallow cupboard - makes a great bookcase with its door removed.

5. Poetry Resources. For poetry related news, books and web resources, go to Poetry Resources.

6. For Short stories, this is a good site.

7. Fantastically rich writer's resource at Writing-World.com

8. NAWG, the National Association of Writers' Groups has a website full of treasures. Do you belong to a writing group? Are you a short story writer, a novelist, a playwright, a poet, or a non-fiction writer? Then there's something for you on the NAWG website. Read about our Competitions, our Festival of Writing, and our Link magazine. You can see if there is a writing group in your area. The National Association of Writers' Groups has something for everyone who writes.

9. Whisper Poetry has a website with competitions among other delights.

10. Preditors and editors: anotherealm.com/prededitors/ has huge lists of all sorts of literary support, including a reference to Fledgling Press as "not recommended."  I wear this label with pride, as the issue, which is perhaps intriguing, is that my contract with a writer, which gives me 10% of any film or television rights sold, is seen by the splendid editor as unethical and involving a conflict of interest.  I don't agree, but if you have views, please tell me.

11. "The Wedderburn Book" (1898) is a mine of genealogical information, and I am willing to scan pages from it at cost.  Its second volume, the evidence, can be ordered from Kessinger Publishing.  It is the first volume that I will search and scan for anyone interested.
