Book Releases - Post Lockdown………….

We are delighted to be able to confirm our next two book releases which are

"Happiness is Wasted on Me" by Kirkland Ciccone released 29th October

And

"The Sins of Allie Lawrence by Philip Caveney" released 12th November

Both of these titles unfortunately had their original publication dates delayed due to the events of this year but we are pleased to now be able to talk about their releases. Launch events have been planned but are a little different from our usual book launches due to the social distancing restrictions that are currently in place. More details are available on our *NEW* Events Section on our Website.

Taking place in the 90s, Happiness Is Wasted On Me is a genre-blending tale that spans a decade in the life of Walter. It’s a coming of age tale, a family drama, a mystery, and a biting dark comedy. Ultimately, it’s the story of how even the strangest people can find their way in the world.

You can join us for an evening of online fun in the Company of Kirkland coming live to you from Cumbernauld Library. You can sign up for the event on Thursday 29th October by clicking the cover below......

Philip Caveny's excellent new title The Sins of Allie Lawrence is a tale of temptation, inspired by the legend of Black Donald, and is set against the vibrant world of the theatre. After a blazing row with her mother, sixteen-year-old Allie Lawrence impulsively runs away from the family home in Killiecrankie, with no plan other than to go to Edinburgh to ‘be an actor.’ Then a chauffeur-driven car pulls up beside her and she’s offered a lift by its handsome and mysterious passenger, Nick.

We are currently planning an online event with Philip, date yet to be decided but you can register interest by clicking the cover below......
