Both of these titles unfortunately had their original publication dates delayed due to the events of this year but we are pleased to now be able to talk about their releases. Launch events have been planned but are a little different from our usual book launches due to the social distancing restrictions that are currently in place. Philip Caveny's excellent new title The Sins of Allie Lawrence is a tale of temptation, inspired by the legend of Black Donald, and is set against the vibrant world of the theatre. After a blazing row with her mother, sixteen-year-old Allie Lawrence impulsively runs away from the family home in Killiecrankie, with no plan other than to go to Edinburgh to ‘be an actor.’ Then a chauffeur-driven car pulls up beside her and she’s offered a lift by its handsome and mysterious passenger, Nick.
